Driving the Implementation and Long-Term Success of a Strategic TMS Platform
At STARK Group IT, we are looking for two experienced TMS Application & Configuration Managers to play a key role in the Group-wide implementation of our new Transportation Management System, CarLo by Soloplan.
You will join STARK Group at a time when we are modernising and standardising key business processes through our digital transformation programme, Athene. As part of this journey, CarLo will become a critical platform supporting transport planning, execution, freight management, and logistics operations across multiple countries and business units.
In this role, you will help configure, establish, and roll out CarLo across the Group, working closely with logistics stakeholders, country operations, implementation partners, and colleagues across Group IT. As the implementation progresses, the role will naturally evolve into long-term ownership of the platform, with responsibility for configuration, continuous improvement, and ensuring CarLo continues to support the evolving needs of the business.
You will be part of STARK Group IT in Denmark, with the flexibility to be based either in our Frederiksberg (Copenhagen) or Viby J (Aarhus) office.
Your Role and Impact
As our new TMS Application & Configuration Manager, you will play a central role in establishing CarLo as STARK Group's common Transportation Management System across countries and business units.
Working at the intersection of logistics, technology, and business transformation, you will help ensure that CarLo supports both local operational needs and the Group's ambition to standardise and modernise transport and logistics processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders, country organisations, implementation partners, and Group IT to build a scalable platform that can support the business both today and in the future.
The role offers a unique opportunity to follow CarLo from implementation and rollout into long-term ownership, where your focus will gradually evolve towards application management, continuous improvement, and governance of the Group platform.
In this role, you will:
You will be successful in this role when CarLo is implemented and operated in a structured and scalable way, stakeholders view the platform as a valuable business enabler, and new requirements are delivered without compromising the long-term integrity of the Group template.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who understands both transportation processes and the applications that support them. You enjoy working closely with business stakeholders, translating requirements into practical solutions, and taking ownership of a platform throughout its lifecycle - from implementation and rollout to ongoing improvement and governance.
To succeed in this role, you will likely bring:
Just as importantly, you combine analytical thinking with a pragmatic and hands-on approach. You are comfortable navigating complexity, challenging requirements when necessary, and driving changes from idea through implementation.
Experience with integrations, EDI/API interfaces, SQL, reporting, master data management, or transport-related data structures will help you get off to a strong start in the role.
Welcome to Group IT
When you join Group IT, you join a collaborative international organisation where technology and business go hand in hand. We are replacing legacy systems and building a modern, modular IT landscape to support STARK Group's continued growth.
You will become part of an organisation where large-scale transformation programmes meet practical business needs, and where collaboration across countries, business units, and technical disciplines is a natural part of everyday work.
This role offers the opportunity to work with experienced colleagues across logistics, architecture, integrations, service management, and application teams while helping build a platform that will play a critical role in supporting transport and logistics processes across STARK Group for years to come.
