The Key Purpose of this role is to drive continuous optimization, performance reporting, and system enhancements within the Transport Management System (TMS) environment. The role is responsible for supporting logistics planning and execution through data analytics, Power BI reporting, system administration, process improvements, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring efficient transport operations aligned with business and logistics strategies.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

TMS Operations and Administration

• Execute daily Transport Management System (TMS) planning activities, including IDP planning and urgent order management.
• Manage and maintain master data within TMS, including carriers, SKUs, equipment, vehicle availability, travel times, and FTCT parameters.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues affecting load creation and planning, including declared value, pallet validation, weight verification, and date controls.
• Maintain and update TMS standard operating procedures (SOPs) for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support transport scheduling activities and ensure compliance with Logistics Control Process (LCP) requirements.

Reporting, Analytics and Performance Management

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards and reports to provide actionable logistics insights.
• Track, analyze, and report Transport Management System KPIs and Performance Indicators (PIs) aligned to Logistics Strategy objectives, including LSA, WPS, M1, M2, M3, and M4 measures.
• Produce carrier performance scorecards and provide visibility of performance through automated reporting solutions.
• Convert complex data into meaningful business insights and recommendations for decision-making.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and availability of logistics data for operational and strategic reporting.

Continuous Improvement and Optimization

• Identify opportunities to improve TMS functionality, processes, and system capabilities.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Maintain and enhance macro-enabled Excel tools used for TMS uploads and data processing.
• Support implementation and delivery of TMS-related projects and system enhancements.
• Challenge current ways of working and recommend innovative solutions to improve logistics performance.

Stakeholder Management and Collaboration

• Prepare data, reports, and action logs to support weekly operational and system review meetings.
• Collaborate with logistics teams, carriers, planners, and system providers to resolve operational and system challenges.
• Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders to align transport operations with business objectives.
• Present findings, insights, and recommendations clearly to operational and management teams.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years' experience within Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport Operations, or a related environment.
• Proven experience working with Transport Management Systems (TMS).
• Experience in logistics reporting, analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience in Power BI dashboard development and automated reporting solutions.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macros and data modelling.
• Advanced Power BI development and reporting skills.
• SAP knowledge and practical experience.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management capability.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver accurate reporting and data-driven insights.
