In this role, you'll:


Work within our Future Operations Team within the Operations Management Branch of the Coordinator General division at Transport for NSW, with a focus on being the critical link between frontline transport operators and technical project and delivery teams.

This role will see you providing specialist operational expertise in Transport Management Centre systems and their integration, ensuring that technology solutions are aligned with real world operational needs.

You will provide advanced system analysis, optimization, and leadership of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance, support strategic decision-making and ensure the transport network remains future ready.

About you


Your tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience will be in operational systems, ITS (intelligent transport systems), asset management, engineering, operations, or a related discipline.

You’re recognised for your specialist expertise in transport operational technologies/systems preferably TMC systems with asset management capability, data governance and lifecycle system optimisation within a complex operational or technical environment.

In summary, you are both a technical person and a relationship builder who can balance immediate operational priorities with longer-term strategic asset management, system optimisation and future capability needs and someone who can provide specialist advice and translate complex asset and system information into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.

This is an Award Transport Grade 8 Permanent Full-Time role based in Eveleigh Transport Management Centre (TMC), with flexibility through our cutting-edge hybrid working model!.
