Key Responsibilities

• Preventative Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and implement scheduled preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of facility assets.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs or component replacements.
• Facility Upkeep: Perform general maintenance, including carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and basic landscaping or groundskeeping.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere strictly to workplace health and safety protocols and ensure all repairs meet regulatory codes.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, service requests, work orders, and parts inventory.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests and facility emergencies, which may include on-call rotations. [ 1, 2, 3]

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience:BE or Diploma in machanical & A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role, as a maintenance technician, industrial mechanic, or in a related facility management role. [ 1]
• Technical Knowledge: Working knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical wiring. [ 1, 2]
• Physical Capabilities: Physical stamina and manual dexterity to lift heavy equipment, stand for long periods, and perform physical tasks. [ 1]
• Problem-Solving: Exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for identifying potential structural or mechanical hazards. [ 1, 2]
• Tools & Technology: Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
