Job Description

In this role, you'll:


You will be working as part of a team delivering privacy and cyber breach responses for licence and photocard customers, the management of identity integrity, identity investigations and escalated operational support relating to proof of identity and overseas licence conversions and other matters related to licence issuance.


This role will see you oversee Transport for NSW’s role in identity management lifecycle by managing the integrity of the licensing and photocard register, ensure accurate customer identification, provide identity management advice, liaise with other government agencies, and support stakeholder and customer remediation pathways.


You will lead improvements to identity management processes and customer remediation pathways in a complex environment involving cyber incidents, privacy issues, identity fraud risks, and multi‑agency collaboration.

About you


Your capabilities across project management, stakeholder engagement, identity management, and responding to complex proof‑of‑identity matters formed across public sector regulatory environments, customer‑facing services, and operational support functions will see you excel in managing cyber and privacy incident responses, overcoming challenges involving tight deadlines, confidentiality, legislative complexity, and evidence preparation to lead to strong customer outcomes and improved identity integrity.

You're recognised as an ethical, effective communicator and collaborative problem‑solver, skilled at managing complex communications, analysing issues, providing expert advice, and leading teams, experienced in identity investigation, operational support, document verification, stakeholder collaboration, and developing pathways for customer remediation.
