Vishay Beer Sheva is currently seeking applicants for a Team Leader-Air conditioning and Maintenance In this position, you will be responsible to maintain and operate plant infrastructure systems such as cooling systems, air conditioners, chillers, air-compressors, driers, blowers, water lines, fire system, etc.

Job Location

Beer Sheva is the capital of the Negev, located in Southern Israel.

The factory in Beer Sheva was established in 1996 in the “Emek Sarah” industrial area and has over 1,000 employees. Vishay Resistors are embedded in various industries: Automotive, Telecom, Computers, Medical, Military, etc.

What you will be doing

• support and maintain the plant's air conditioning equipment and systems.

• Support and operate infrastructure systems such as refrigeration systems, air conditioners, chillers, air compressors, dryers, blowers, water and fire extinguishing systems.

• Responsible for managing a small team of air conditioning technicians.

• Place spare parts orders.

• Provide preventive maintenance according to the plan and provide solutions to malfunctions.

• Responsibility for supervising contractor work.

• Responsibility for performing the work while ensuring quality and safety.

• Working in day shifts.

What you will bring along

• Valid Air-Conditioning technician license or certification.

• Previous experience in a similar or relevant position in the industry.

• Strong knowledge of cooling systems and components.

• Strong knowledge of infrastructure systems and equipment (chillers, air-compressors, cooling towers, pumps blowers, pipeline, etc.)

• Ability to work physically from time to time.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Good command of Office applications.

• Manage a small team of air conditioning technicians.

• Mental flexibility and problem-solving skills.

• Interpersonal communication and human relations.
