Serve members and internal customers by answering questions and assisting in the titling process to ensure quality service across multiple channels. Timely and accurately service the needs of the members and enhance their financial relationships with the credit union. Responsible for maintaining good working relationships with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), car dealerships, insurance companies, and branch personnel..

SCHEDULE:

Monday-Friday 10:30am-7pm

Rotating Saturdays 9am-3pm

To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully.

  • Provides quality service to credit union members to assist with the titling process to enhance their financial relationship with Mountain America.
  • Adheres to call handling and quality review procedures.
  • Assists loan officers in perfecting titles on all auto, boat, and RV loans to ensure that Mountain America has secured the collateral.
  • Promotes and maintains effective partnerships with branches, member service teams and Credit Union members.
  • Serves as a liaison with all state and/or county Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to obtain titles, solve problems, research issues to ensure timely processing of title paperwork.
  • Knowledge of DMV related fees and forms to ensure proper and timely processing of titles.
  • General understanding in all title processing responsibilities including, but not limited to:
    • Member & Dealer payoffs
    • Releasing titles to members and other financial institutions
    • Request for letters of guarantee
    • UCC filing and follow-up
    • Outstanding title follow-up
  • Serves as a liaison with other financial institutions and dealers to obtain titles, solve problems, research issues to ensure timely processing of title paperwork.
  • Accurately records title notes on member accounts to ensure proper and timely follow up occurs with member, financial institution, dealer or Mountain America teams.
  • Responsible to maintain accurate filing of title paperwork to ensure timely processing of titles.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Computer/Office Equipment Skills

Adding machine/10-key. Type a minimum of 35 words per minute. Basic computer operating skills (windows navigation, mouse/keyboard functionality.) Intermediate to advanced level skill in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Has no supervisory/managerial responsibilities

Language Skills

Must have the ability to read, understand and carry out instructions in written and oral form.

Other Skills and Abilities

Must be able to communicate effectively in a team environment. Must be dependable, detail-oriented, self-motivated and possess good customer service skills and excellent follow through. Must be able to work independently with little to no supervision.
