The Title IX Coordinator (PT) serves as the institution's designated Title IX Coordinator and is responsible for overseeing compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972; the Violence Against Women Act Reauthorization of 2012; Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; the Americans with Disabilities Act and Sections 503 and 504 of the Rehabilitation Act 1973; and related federal and state laws.
The Title IX Coordinator (PT) provides leadership in the institution's efforts to prevent and respond to allegations of sex discrimination, sexual harassment, sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, pregnancy-related discrimination, and retaliation involving students, employees, applicants, and third parties.
The position coordinates institutional compliance, oversees grievance procedures, manages investigations or investigative processes, develops policies, provides training, maintains required records, and serves as the primary resource regarding Title IX obligations.
The Title IX Coordinator works collaboratively with Human Resources, Student Affairs, Public Safety, Athletics, Academic Affairs, and legal counsel while exercising independent judgment in administering the institution's Title IX program.

Experience and Qualifications
● Minimum 1 – 3 years’ experience in areas of Title IX, Title II, Title IV, Title, VI, Title VII, civil rights, compliance, higher education administration.
● Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Higher Education Administration, Public Administration, Business Administration, Law, or related field
● Master’s degree or Juris Doctor preferred.
