This position is critical to ensuring vehicle transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with state requirements.

Role Overview

The Title Clerk will be responsible for vehicle title and registration processing, maintaining accurate records, coordinating paperwork with government agencies, and supporting dealership accounting and sales operations.

Title Clerk Job Responsibilities

• Process vehicle titles, registrations, and related documentation
• Prepare and submit all required paperwork accurately and on time
• Verify deal jackets for completeness and compliance
• Maintain title documentation and dealership records
• Work with state motor vehicle departments and related agencies
• Follow up on missing documents and title discrepancies
• Assist accounting and sales teams with transaction documentation
• Ensure compliance with dealership policies and state regulations
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned

QualificationsTitle Clerk Qualifications

• Previous automotive title clerk, DMV, accounting, or dealership administrative experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Professional communication skills
• Proficiency with computer systems and dealership software
• Knowledge of vehicle title and registration processes preferred

Corporate Hiring Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, maintain an acceptable driving record, and be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
