ANNOUNCEMENT OF PROFESSIONAL EXTRACURRICULAR VACANCY

Position: Title I School Wide Parent Coordinator

Location: Jane Lew Elementary School

Certification: West Virginia Elementary Certification

Requirement: Must be a teacher at the school

Job Duties

• Work with parents, teachers, and administrators to organize, develop, and implement parent activities to keep parents informed about Title I and school wide activities.

• Work with Title I personnel to implement the parent involvement programs.

• Work with Title I teachers and administration to disseminate information to parents monthly.

• Organize and hold parent workshops in implementing the curriculum.

• Organize and hold parent advisory council meetings at the school level and attend the parent advisory council meetings at the county level quarterly.

• Organize and implement parent volunteer trainings.

• Renew and/or sign up new parent volunteers for school assigned.

• Specific details for Parent Coordinator duties available upon request.

Salary: $1000.00

Term: August-June, Annually

Available: 2026-2027 school year
