ANNOUNCEMENT OF PROFESSIONAL EXTRACURRICULAR VACANCY
Position: Title I School Wide Parent Coordinator
Location: Jane Lew Elementary School
Certification: West Virginia Elementary Certification
Requirement: Must be a teacher at the school
Job Duties
Work with parents, teachers, and administrators to organize, develop, and implement parent activities to keep parents informed about Title I and school wide activities.
Work with Title I personnel to implement the parent involvement programs.
Work with Title I teachers and administration to disseminate information to parents monthly.
Organize and hold parent workshops in implementing the curriculum.
Organize and hold parent advisory council meetings at the school level and attend the parent advisory council meetings at the county level quarterly.
Organize and implement parent volunteer trainings.
Renew and/or sign up new parent volunteers for school assigned.
Specific details for Parent Coordinator duties available upon request.
Salary: $1000.00
Term: August-June, Annually
Available: 2026-2027 school year
