ANNOUNCEMENT OF PROFESSIONAL EXTRACURRICULAR VACANCY

POSITION: Title I Schoolwide Project Facilitator

LOCATION: Roanoke Elementary School

CERTIFICATION/

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Elementary Education Degree

2. Remedial Reading Certification or Authorization Preferred, but not required

3. Must be employee at the school where serving as Schoolwide Project Facilitator

4. Preference will be given to applicants with experience developing, implementing and monitoring a Title I schoolwide project

5. Excellent oral and written communication skills

6. Ability to work positively with colleagues, principal, Title I Director and Title I Coordinator

7. Strong knowledge of Title I regulations

8. Strong knowledge of research relating to improving student achievement in reading and mathematics

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assume the lead role in the writing, implementation and monitoring of the School's SWP
2. Assume the lead in conducting research into best teaching practices and share this information with other teachers in the building
3. Assist the principal with the production, analysis and presentation of state testing data
4. Work with all teachers in the school to plan and prepare activities, which will include and involve parents

5. Other duties as assigned by the Superintendent, Title I Director and Principal

SALARY: $1,000.00

TERM: August – June, Annually

AVAILABLE: 2026-2027 School Year
