Position Purpose:
The Surgical Service Line Tissue and Preference Card Coordinator works closely with staff, surgeons and other departments to ensure a process for tissue management and doctor preference card (DPC) management and improvement.
What you will do:
Supporting the identification and design of initiatives to improve and strengthen the performance of the process in relation to tissue services and to ensure practices are in alignment with regulatory requirements.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education High School Graduate; Graduate of accredited Surgical Technologist Program
Experience: As associated with surgical technologist program. Minimum three years experience in Specialty area preferred.
Licensure Certified Surgical Technologist required. BLS required
Required to scrub in rooms as needed based on volume and staffing.
