Tireman (m/f)

To support mining operations in the Benishangul-Gumuz region, Mota-Engil is seeking a Tireman responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and replacing tyres on heavy mobile mining equipment. The role ensures tyre safety, equipment availability, and operational efficiency while complying with company SHEQ standards and manufacturer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, replace, and maintain tyres on heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Monitor tyre condition, wear, and pressure levels.
• Perform tyre fitting, removal, and servicing activities safely.
• Operate tyre handling tools and equipment.
• Maintain tyre maintenance records and report defects.
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards and safety procedures.
• Participate in inspections, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.

Education and Experience Requirements

Education

• Technical Certificate, TVET qualification, or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in tyre maintenance within mining, construction, transport, or industrial environments.

Technical Skills

• Tyre inspection, repair, and replacement.
• Tyre pressure management and wear analysis.
• Safe use of tyre servicing tools and equipment.
