Job Description

How You Will Make an Impact:

You will be responsible for inspecting and assessing damaged or worn tires on vehicles, replace or repair damaged tires, and balance or rotate tires. Please note that this is a contract position.

The hourly wage for this role is $19.96. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and comply with all applicable pay transparency legislation. Further details regarding our total rewards offerings will be shared by the Talent Acquisition team during the hiring process. Canadian work experience is not a requirement for this role. Please note that artificial intelligence–based tools may be used at certain stages of the recruitment and applicant screening process.

As a Tire Technician, you will:

  • Repair, balance, remove and install tires
  • Shunt vehicles from plants to workshops
  • Process inventory and label tires into storage trailers
  • Filling out required paperwork for vehicle documentation
  • Comply with all safety procedures by taking an active approach to accident prevention
  • Assist mechanics with other workshop duties as needed
  • May need to complete other duties as required and assigned by management

About you:

  • Must be available to work Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm
  • Highly motivated and able to work well independently
  • Physically able to carry out the duties of the position such as lifting tires and continuous movement throughout the shift
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent time management & customer service skills
  • Ability to comprehend and communicate detailed instructions orally and in writing
  • Professionalism to emphasize the customers “Respect for the individual”
