Tire Press Apprentice
Dundalk, MD

Currently, we are seeking a Tire Press Apprentice to support our Dundalk, MD location. We offer tremendous opportunity for growth, competitive compensation and benefits for individuals who want a career with a great company that maintains a family feel!

This is an entry-level position designed to support daily tire operations while developing the skills required to become a field or shop tire technician. The primary focus is on shop duties including inventory management, job staging, and assisting technicians, with structured hands-on training in tire service and installation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Pull, stage, and organize tires, wheels, and materials for scheduled jobs and service calls
• Load and unload delivery trucks and service vehicles efficiently and safely
• Press and dismount/mount shop tires for technicians as required
• Maintain accurate inventory, including stocking, labeling, and organizing tire inventory
• Assist technicians with basic tire service tasks as part of training progression
• Operate shop equipment (forklifts, tire presses, air tools, etc.) as trained
• Keep the shop clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Support daily shop workflow to improve technician productivity and job readiness
• Perform local tire deliveries or pickups as needed

Training & Development:
• Receive hands-on training in forklift tire service, mounting/dismounting, and job site preparation
• Progressively develop skills to transition into a Tire Technician role
• Learn proper safety procedures, equipment operation, and service standards

Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to lift 50–100 lbs. regularly
• Comfortable working in a warehouse/shop environment
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
• Ability to follow direction and work effectively within a team
• Mechanical aptitude or interest in hands-on work preferred

Compensation:
This is an hourly position with a range of $21-22/hr. Compensation is based on experience.
