What We Are Looking For
Baylor TIP Residential Summer Program Teaching Assistants (TAs) provide supervision and mentoring to the students who qualify for and participate in summer residential programs offered through The Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development. TAs are responsible for supporting students during the academic day. They report to an assigned instructor and assist in teaching a course that is appropriately rigorous and challenging for high ability students. They also supervise students during class breaks and lunch and lead a one-hour evening study session with the students in their class.
An Advanced Undergrad (120 credit hours) OR 2 years of Undergrad coursework, and zero years of experience are required. Relevant professional experience may substitute for some credit hours.

Schedule
Beginning with onsite arrival, schedule will consist of seven days per week. TA working hours are primarily the hours students are in class; other schedule commitments include meeting time, and additional time for planning and preparation of activities. Personal time will vary daily. Room and board on Baylor’s campus are included for the days this job requires staff to be on campus.
Applications must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
