Under the general direction of the Application Manager, the Information Systems Analyst 4 supports enterprise applications across UCLA Health and works independently on projects assigned by the Application Manager and/or the Financial & Administrative Systems Director.
In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the stability, performance, and ongoing enhancement of key business applications.

This role requires a self-directed analyst who is comfortable working independently, collaborating across technical and operational teams, and translating business needs into effective application solutions.
This flexible hybrid role allows for a blend of remote and on-site work, requiring presence on-site at least 1-2 days per month, or as needed based on operational demands. Please note, travel to the “home office” location is not reimbursed. Each employee will complete a FlexWork Agreement with their manager to outline expectations and ensure mutual understanding. These arrangements are periodically reviewed and may be adjusted or terminated as necessary.
Salary offers are based on a variety of factors including qualifications, experience, and internal equity. The full salary range for this position is $105,700 – $234,500 annually. The University anticipates offering a salary below the midpoint of this range.
Required Skills and Abilities
· Broad and/or in-depth knowledge of multiple areas of focus in application specialty areas.Knowledge of systems and functions, including design, development, implementation, user support and training, maintenance, quality assurance, and system testing and evaluation.
· Ability to research, organize, analyze, and synthesize data to support effective decision making.
· Must be detail oriented and have a knack for probing for information, in order to fully understand the underlying needs that influence how a system should be configured/ organized.
· Ability to decide priority of assigned tasks and manage multiple and competing tasks.
· Ability to work effectively as a team player and work with people of all backgrounds, at all levels.

· Strong written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to convey technical information to all levels of application users in a specific, clear, and concise manner.

Required Knowledge and Experience
· Demonstrated technical and functional proficiency with UKG Workforce Central
· Demonstrated proficiency with scripting, report development and application configuration
· Experience documenting and testing functionality within an application
· Past participation in all stages of the application development life cycle: planning, creating, testing, deploying, and maintaining an application.
· Demonstrated proficiency with information systems technology, which also includes Microsoft Office Suite, email, intranet, internet, and other systems.
· Demonstrated skill in system workflow and business process flow analysis and design.
·Bachelor’s Degree in health care information technology, computer science, or related area.
Preferred Knowledge and Experience
· Implementation of Time & Attendance System, such as UKG Workforce Central
· Demonstrated experience with cloud technologies and utilizing APIs
· Demonstrated proficiency with Oracle / MS SQL database, UNIX Scripting, Crystal Reports, IIS, Python
· Demonstrated proficiency with BOOMI
· Development, standardization and automation of reporting (i.e. Tableau)
· Adoption of technology and new systems
· Custom configurations for an application and/or hardware (i.e. scripting, website development)
· Familiarity with, from an application standpoint, Windows and UNIX/AIX server configuration and management
