Job Description

This position provides direct support to the Silver Bell Mine Operations. Support salary and hourly personnel.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Timesheets – enter time card information for all Silverbell hourly employees.
  • Assist employees with payroll issues, vacation requests, etc.
  • Print and post vacation schedule for each crew.
  • Generate work schedules.
  • Make crew changes and add new employees to timesheets.
  • Re-roster/workgroup and add new employees.
  • Separate and distribute work orders from Workplace Inspection cards.
  • Create and maintain reports for the department(s).
  • Assist with filing, organizing dept.
  • Order supplies – including special printing orders.
  • Research as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong skills in all Microsoft Office products, with emphasis on Excel.
  • Strong skills/knowledge in UKG, Kronos and SAP (preferred).

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent
  • 1 – 2 years clerical experience
  • Experience working in a Mine/MSHA 5000-23 (preferred but not required)

ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH & SAFETY

  • This job requires training or instruction in the area of Safety & Health awareness including completion of the appropriate OSHA and/or MSHA training.
