Responsibilities:

Performs a variety of timekeeping and clerical duties. Responsible for complying and recording employee special pay, entering timecard data, and creation of reports as requested. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a busy workload. This role requires qualities such as adaptability, flexibility, dependability, and accountability. Work may be self-appointed, and requires a high degree of professional independence, initiative, and self- discipline.

  • Maintains accuracy of time and attendance records for assigned group of employees.
  • Assists employees and supervisors with questions regarding timecard and attendance.
  • Enter and process special pay requests.
  • Maintain record of employee absences and tardies.
  • Performs general office work, including preparing correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Prepare reports as requested by supervisors, managers, and directors.
  • Uses excellent customer service skills in all interactions.
  • Assist with budget and expense processing as needed.
  • Maintains confidentiality.
  • Communicates and/or coordinates leaders instructions to others.
  • Assist with database coordination, including data entry and production of regular and ad hoc reports.
  • Knowledgeable of facility and department level specific activities related to time and attendance.
  • Provide operational support in areas of assignment
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school (G.E.D.).
  • Minimum of one year experience in an office setting. Timekeeping experience preferred.
  • Knowledge and skills of PC applications, Microsoft Office products, record storage and maintenance, document management.
