Time To Pay Design Lead – Program Nova

In this role, you will be the critical connection between the Time Management and Payroll workstreams, helping ensure that future-state processes, systems, and controls deliver accurate, compliant, and sustainable payroll outcomes. You will bring deep time-to-payroll expertise to challenge design decisions, validate configuration, and align global standards with country-specific requirements.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the integration of Time Management and Payroll activities through design, build, testing, deployment, and stabilization.
• Ensure end-to-end alignment from SuccessFactors Employee Central through Workforce Time and into Global View payroll.
• Identify, manage, and resolve cross-workstream dependencies, design gaps, risks, and ownership questions. Working with external vendors to identify design solutions that meet McCormick’s needs.
• Challenge future-state standards and configuration decisions using knowledge of McCormick systems and processes, including SAP, SuccessFactors Employee Central, MySuccess, ADP, Workforce, and related payroll and time platforms.
• Develop and maintain process maps, SOPs, policies, controls, decision logs, country requirements, business rules, and documentation that clearly connect time processes to payroll outcomes.
• Support test planning, test scenarios, defect resolution, cutover preparation, deployment readiness, and adoption activities.
• Partner with HR Transformation, Payroll, Time Management, HRIT, Finance, Operations, Solution Center, country teams, and implementation partners.
• Support post-launch stabilization and identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and strengthen controls.
• Participate in workshops, governance forums, readiness reviews, issue-resolution sessions, change management, training, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Handle employee, payroll, and system information with appropriate confidentiality and discretion.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Operations, or a related field preferred. Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
• At least 5 years of experience in payroll, time and attendance, HR operations or technology, finance operations, or business transformation.
• General compliance understanding for Time Management and/or Payroll in at least 2 of the countries in scope: USA, FRA, CAN, GBR, POL, MEX, SLV
• Experience with SAP, SuccessFactors Employee Central, MySuccess, ADP, Workforce, payroll/time platforms, or comparable systems.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end time-to-payroll processes, including data flows, approvals, exceptions, controls, and downstream impacts.
• Experience documenting processes, requirements, test scenarios, SOPs, controls, business rules, and system or data-flow requirements.
• Strong customer service skills to conduct meetings with external sources.
• Strong analytical, project management, facilitation, communication, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to business stakeholders and constructively challenge decisions to drive alignment.
• Extreme attention to detail, sound judgment, and discretion with confidential information is required.
• Fluent English required. Additional languages are a plus.
• Payroll, HR technology, project management, or Lean/Six Sigma certification is preferred but not required.

Base Salary: $102,000 – 173,500 – for US.

Starting base salary for Poland: min. PLN 176, 000

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Sales Incentive Bonus (SIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Dividend Program.
