We are seeking Tim Horton's Team Members to join our team at Tim Hortons at Saint Mary's University!

Job Responsibilities

• Guest Experience: Greet guests with a warm smile, take orders accurately, and handle transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Food & Beverage Preparation: Brew fresh coffee, mix specialty drinks, prepare breakfast items, sandwiches, and showcase baked goods according to Tim Hortons standards.
• Speed & Accuracy: Work collaboratively to keep line-ups moving quickly, especially during peak drive-thru and front-counter rush hours.
• Cleanliness & Sanitation: Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across the counter, kitchen, and seating areas.
• Restocking & Prep: Keep workstations stocked with cups, lids, coffee beans, and fresh ingredients throughout your shift

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience is an asset
• Experience working with Tim Horton's or similar franchise an asset
• Valid WHMIS and Food Safe (Basic or Advanced), First Aid Certification is an asset
• Knowledge of and commitment to upholding high standards of food safety and hygiene.
• Additional certification may be required by work location
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently supervised and unsupervised
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.

This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.50.
