About the team
The Commercial Sustainability team's main focus is on ensuring long-term commercial viability and ecosystem health. They focus on strategic planning to maintain a healthy marketplace or monetization ecosystem, often work on policy design, guardrails, and incentives that drive sustainable growth for creators, sellers, or partners, balances short-term revenue goals with long-term ecosystem health
Responsibilities
- Be part of the Malaysia TikTok Shop Commercial Sustainability team, responsible for driving key strategic initiatives through data analytics, business planning, and project management
- Involved in various projects under Mall, Ads, Policy and BXP
- Accountable for the overall project goals: capable of systematically breaking down high-level objectives into actionable metrics for different teams, with clear target-setting logic. Communicate effectively across teams and closely monitor progress toward each goal
- Possess a clear path to achieving objectives: able to identify key levers for metric improvement, and design a concrete roadmap and practical solutions around them
- Build strong alignment with stakeholders, fostering a collaborative environment and rallying cross-functional teams toward shared goals. Effectively coordinate and manage complex projects to ensure simultaneous progress across multiple workstreams, delivering stable and meaningful results
- Lead and manage the projects team by allocating responsibilities, providing guidance, and ensuring both strong outcomes and individual team member growth
