The team's mission is to improve delivery experience while minimizing costs across Fulfillment by TikTok (FBT) through seamless, integrated FBT product solutions and operations.
We are looking for a highly analytical and strategic Linehaul Analytics Manager to support our rapidly growing e-commerce platform. The Linehaul Analytics Manager is responsible for developing the analytical foundation that drives operational performance, carrier strategy, and network optimization across the middle-mile and linehaul network. This role partners closely with Operations, Procurement, Planning, Product, Engineering, and Finance to translate operational data into actionable insights that improve service reliability, cost efficiency, and network performance.
The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with logistics expertise to identify opportunities, influence strategic decisions, and drive continuous improvement across the transportation network.
Responsibilities
Network Performance Analytics
- Own performance reporting and analytics across FBT's linehaul network
- Develop and maintain key performance metrics to monitor network health, service quality, operational efficiency, and transportation costs
- Analyze operational trends to identify root causes of service failures, network bottlenecks, and cost drivers
- Deliver recurring business reviews and executive insights that support operational and strategic decision-making
Network Optimization
- Evaluate lane performance and identify opportunities to improve network efficiency, reduce transportation costs, and enhance service levels
- Perform scenario analysis to support network design, routing strategies, and carrier allocation decisions
- Quantify operational improvement opportunities and measure the impact of implemented initiatives
- Partner with Operations and Planning teams to support network changes through analytical evaluation
Carrier Performance Analytics
- Develop standardized carrier scorecards and performance reporting
- Analyze carrier performance across service, cost, utilization, and compliance metrics
- Support carrier business reviews by providing performance insights and identifying improvement opportunities
- Partner with Procurement partners to evaluate carrier performance trends and support data-driven decision-making
Business Intelligence & Reporting
- Design and maintain scalable reporting solutions that provide visibility into network performance
- Standardize KPI definitions, reporting methodologies, and performance measurement across cross-functional teams
- Improve reporting automation and data quality to increase operational visibility and reduce manual effort
- Ensure consistent and accurate reporting across internal systems
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Operations, Product, Engineering, Planning, Finance, and Procurement to support strategic initiatives
- Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and actionable recommendations
- Support new product launches and operational initiatives by measuring business impact and defining success metrics
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to leadership to influence operational and strategic decisions
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting, analytical processes, and operational decision-making
- Conduct deep-dive analyses following major operational events, network changes, or service disruptions
- Build scalable analytical frameworks that support long-term network growth
- Promote a data-driven culture by providing timely insights and actionable recommendations
