Job Description
The Project Manager will lead the end-to-end lifecycle of expansion, interior build-out, and facility replacement for Hubs and Sortations. This role is critical for the growth of our logistics network and requires a leader who can manage complex cross-functional stakeholders and external partners.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead End-to-End Expansion Projects
Oversee the entire expansion lifecycle — from initial location surveying and site evaluation all the way through to final facility handover.
2. Manage Facility Replacement & Renovation
Handle the upgrade, renovation, and replacement of existing hubs and sortation centers to meet operational standards and capacity needs.
3. Conduct Site Assessments
Partner with the Operations team to evaluate potential sites based on commercial viability, parking and truck loading/unloading logistics, and internal layout suitability for sorting and bagging operations.
4. Lead Landlord Negotiations
Serve as the primary point of contact with landlords for interior build-out, renovation terms, and lease negotiations to secure favorable conditions for the business.
5. Coordinate Procurement & Finance
Follow up closely with Procurement on vendor negotiations and with Finance on payment processing to ensure smooth project continuity without delays.
6. Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work alongside Facility Management, Maintenance, and IT teams to ensure each site is fully operational — including functioning internet, electricity, backup power, and all essential working tools and equipment.
7. Oversee Automation & Conveyor Installation
Coordinate with specialized vendors to plan and execute the installation of automation systems and conveyor equipment at new and existing facilities.
8. Lead & Mentor the Project Team
Manage and develop surveyors and drafters supporting site-level activities, providing guidance to ensure quality output and team growth.
9. Own Project Reporting & Strategic Visibility
Take charge of expansion meetings, drive proactive follow-ups, and deliver high-quality progress presentations — applying strong analytical thinking to communicate clear timelines and opening milestones to leadership.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Civil Engineer or Electrical Engineer, or related majors preferred.
- Proven experience leading complex projects involving Procurement, Legal, Finance, IT, Facility Management, Maintenance, and Operations.
- Ability to manage and drive multiple stakeholders toward tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills, able to synthesize data and present clear project visibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong follow-up attitude proactive in ensuring every project milestone is met.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with site surveys and working with surveyors/drafters.
- Willing to work from North Jakarta.
