About the team:
Governance & Experience (GNE) is a global team dedicated to building a safe and trustworthy e-commerce ecosystem for users, sellers, and creators. We focus on protecting user experience through policies, rules, products, and systems that ensure quality and trust at scale. Our GNE Data Science & Analytics team drives a worry-free shopping journey on TikTok by:
- Defining and tracking core GNE metrics
- Providing insights to guide policy, product, and operations
- Building dashboards and reports to monitor marketplace health
- Analyzing data to surface risks and opportunities for improvement
Responsibilities:
- Understand ambiguous business, product and user problems of Governance & Experience business, and apply advanced scientific techniques to find solutions;
- Identify key trends, patterns, and opportunities to drive e-commerce data products adoption, engagement and incremental impacts;
- Conduct A/B testing and complex experimentation (bilateral, networks effect, etc.);
- Partner closely with key stakeholders to optimize overall measurement strategy and design.
