About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Category Lead to join TikTok Shop US Operations and lead one of our fastest-growing business categories — Collectibles.

In this role, you will own the overall growth strategy for the category, including merchant acquisition and development, commercial strategy, business performance, and team leadership. You will work closely with Product, Marketing, Creator Partnerships, Strategy, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to build a scalable merchant ecosystem and deliver sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Category Managers responsible for merchant acquisition, merchant growth, and category operations.

• Define and execute the overall category growth strategy, identifying new business opportunities and driving sustainable GMV growth.

• Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with brands, distributors, merchants, and other ecosystem partners to expand the category.

• Partner closely with merchants to develop customized growth strategies by leveraging TikTok Shop's content ecosystem, creator network, affiliate programs, merchandising capabilities, and platform solutions.

• Analyze business performance, identify growth opportunities, and translate insights into actionable business plans.

• Drive cross-functional initiatives across Product, Marketing, Operations, Strategy, Logistics, and other partner teams to solve complex business challenges and improve merchant experience.

• Represent TikTok Shop in external industry engagements and cultivate long-term strategic partnerships within the category ecosystem.
