Job Description

KalSoft is currently looking for an experienced Tier 3 Senior Cloud & Security Architect to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in enterprise cloud architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure design, and managed services environments. The candidate will be responsible for designing secure cloud solutions, leading advanced technical escalations, strengthening enterprise security posture, and ensuring highly available and secure cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing secure, scalable, and high-availability cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure.
• Leading Tier 3 technical support and handling critical cloud and security escalations.
• Performing advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of infrastructure and security incidents.
• Developing cloud security strategies, governance frameworks, and compliance standards.
• Managing enterprise cloud networking, identity and access management (IAM), and security controls.
• Supporting cloud transformation, migration, and modernization projects.
• Implementing and maintaining disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity solutions.
• Monitoring cloud infrastructure, security alerts, vulnerabilities, and operational health.
• Supporting SIEM, SOC, and incident response activities for enterprise environments.
• Collaborating with Tier 1, Tier 2, and infrastructure teams to ensure effective issue resolution.
• Conducting architecture reviews, risk assessments, and technical security evaluations.
• Supporting automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintaining technical architecture documentation, standards, and operational procedures.
• Ensuring compliance with security policies, SLA requirements, and operational best practices.
• Providing remote operational and architectural support with local support availability when required.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of overall professional experience
• At least 5 years of experience in Cloud Architecture, Cloud Security, or Enterprise Infrastructure environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Architecture and Cloud Security Solutions
• Strong background in enterprise infrastructure, networking, security, governance, and compliance
• Experience with hybrid cloud, virtualization, and enterprise managed services environments
• Experience in enterprise, government, or banking sectors preferred
• Strong understanding of Zero Trust architecture, IAM, SIEM, SOC operations, and cybersecurity best practices
• Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-500, SC-100, SC-200, or equivalent preferred
• Experience with automation, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code tools is an advantage
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination abilities
• Kuwait / GCC preferred (or candidates eligible for legal sponsorship)
