Job Description

KalSoft is currently looking for experienced Tier 2 Cloud Operations Engineers to join our team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure operations, monitoring, troubleshooting, and enterprise managed services environments. The candidate will be responsible for supporting Azure cloud operations, ensuring system stability, managing incidents, and maintaining secure and high-performing cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and monitoring Azure cloud infrastructure environments.
• Handling operational incidents, troubleshooting, and performing root cause analysis.
• Supporting cloud monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and maintenance operations.
• Ensuring system performance, availability, and operational health monitoring.
• Coordinating with Tier 1 and Tier 3 teams for escalation and issue resolution.
• Supporting cloud security, compliance, and governance activities.
• Maintaining accurate operational documentation and technical reports.
• Ensuring SLA compliance and service reliability.
• Supporting enterprise cloud operations and managed services activities.
• Participating in change management, patching, and scheduled maintenance activities.
• Providing primarily remote operational support with local support availability when required.
• Supporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitoring infrastructure, security alerts, and operational dashboards.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of overall professional experience
• At least 3 years of experience in Cloud Operations, Infrastructure Support, or Managed Services environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Strong experience in Microsoft Azure Operations and Managed Services
• Strong background in Cloud Infrastructure, Security, Monitoring, and Support Operations
• Experience in enterprise, government, or banking environments preferred
• Experience in 24x7 support environments is an advantage
• Strong understanding of networking, security, backup, and disaster recovery concepts
• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-500, AZ-700, or AZ-305 preferred
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and coordination abilities
• Kuwait / GCC preferred (or candidates eligible for legal sponsorship)
