Ticket Office Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Ticket Office Supervisor to join the BYU Ticket Office team. This benefited 3/4-time position supports ticket sales operations for BYU sporting events and fine arts events, provides exceptional customer service, supervises employees during events, and helps ensure accurate and efficient ticket office operations across multiple campus venues.

Note: This is a part-time position 28 hours per week.

What you'll do in this position:

• Prepare events for sale and verify accuracy within the ticketing system.
• Train student and non-student employees on ticket office procedures and systems.
• Supervise ticket office clerks during events and provide operational support.
• Resolve customer concerns using creativity, diplomacy, and sound judgment.
• Answer phones and sell tickets during periods of high demand.
• Work evening events and assist at the Marriott Center, BYU Music Building, and other ticket office locations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What qualifies you for this role:

Required

• A firm commitment to the mission of BYU.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of ticket office experience.
• Experience with Paciolan ticketing software.
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a diverse customer base and staff.

Preferred

• 3+ years of ticket office experience.
• Previous supervisory or training experience.
• Experience working in a fast-paced event environment.

Pay Grade: 47

Typical Starting Pay: $19.00 - $24.00

The actual compensation offered will take into consideration internal equity and may vary based on the candidate’s job-related experience, knowledge, skills, and other relevant factors. Candidates with very significant work-related experience may receive an offer higher than the posted typical range.
