The Ticket Office at Steamboat Ski & Resort is hiring for it's winter operations. We are hiring Full and Part time positions. If you have at least one year of customer service experience and can maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment, please apply!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Promote and sell a variety of resort products and services, including, but not limited to, lift tickets, season passes, SnowSports School programs, and Mountain Camp offerings to guests both before arrival and during their resort experience.
Work in multiple guest-facing locations as assigned, including the Main Ticket Office, Sunset Happy Hour, and other designated sales and service locations.
Deliver exceptional guest service while maintaining a professional, positive demeanor in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Create, manage, and fulfill advance orders while accurately processing sales transactions, exchanges, returns, and refunds.
Maintain accountability and accuracy for all daily transactional activities.
Support remote, mobile, and outdoor sales operations as business needs require.
Assist with administrative projects, operational initiatives, and other assigned departmental tasks.
Perform additional duties and special projects as needed to support departmental and resort operations.
Work schedules may vary based on business demands and operational requirements. Daily shifts may vary and may be scheduled during operating hours between 7:00 a.m. and 8:30 p.m.
Availability to work weekends, holidays, and peak business periods is required.
Due to the seasonal nature of the position, extended time off requests for non-emergency situations may be limited.
Comply with all company policies, procedures, safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
This is an hourly, non-exempt position and is eligible for overtime compensation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local wage and hour laws.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
2 years of previous work history/education required
Minimum of 1 year customer service experience required
Prior cash handling experience preferred
Must have greater than average computer proficiency, strong computer and keyboards skills
Must be neat, accurate, well organized
Multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Must enjoy working with the public and have excellent customer service skills
Maintain a positive/friendly attitude often under stressful conditions with both co-workers and guests
Flexible, take initiative and work successfully in a team environment
Adhere to all safety policies
Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s Service Excellence standards
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High school graduate or GED required
College degree preferred
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include many region-specific benefits.
Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay range: $19.50 - $20.50 per hour
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be minimum 18 years of age
Stand or sit for long periods of time
Operate computer for extended periods of time
Communicate clearly in English both in person and on the phone
