As a Thunderhead/SmartDX Developer within the Document Technology team supporting OTC Derivatives and Structured Securitization, you design, build, and maintain high-quality templates that enable accurate and scalable client documentation. You own release management, regression testing, and UAT support for linked applications impacting SmartDX templates. You collaborate with business analysts, process owners, and stakeholders across the development lifecycle to gather requirements, document workflows, and drive efficiency initiatives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design Thunderhead/SmartDX templates for OTC Derivatives and Structured Securitization products.
  • Build and maintain high-quality templates ensuring accuracy, consistency, and usability.
  • Manage release activities including deployment readiness, coordination, and cutover support.
  • Execute regression testing to validate template and workflow stability post-change.
  • Perform UAT testing for upstream/downstream applications impacting SmartDX outputs.
  • Collaborate with business analysts and process owners to gather requirements and clarify user needs.
  • Engage stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle to validate scope and expectations.
  • Document workflows, template logic, and change history with clear, concise artifacts.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement fixes with appropriate root-cause analysis.
  • Drive project initiatives that improve efficiency, reduce defects, and streamline delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC controls, testing standards, and audit-ready documentation.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Demonstrate experience as a Thunderhead Application Developer or SmartDX Developer.
  • Apply strong technical skills in XML, XSLT, SQL, and JavaScript.
  • Execute release management and regression testing with disciplined quality practices.
  • Perform UAT testing and coordinate effectively with dependent application teams.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable template and workflow solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across all stages of the lifecycle.
  • Operate effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Leverage domain knowledge of OTC Derivatives documentation and lifecycle concepts.
  • Utilize experience supporting Structured Securitization documentation requirements.
  • Strengthen delivery through automation of testing, validation, or release routines.
  • Improve operational resilience by applying root-cause analysis and defect prevention.
  • Standardize documentation artifacts to support auditability and knowledge transfer.
  • Partner cross-functionally to drive process improvements and reduce turnaround time.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying reusable components and best practices.
