As the day winds down in Alexandria, our Resource Center is still buzzing. Families stop by after school and work, volunteers help sort donations, and the building fills with gratitude and community connection. Evenings here don’t feel like typical retail—they feel like impact.
We’re looking for a Part-Time Resource Center & Store Assistant (Late Afternoon/Evening) who enjoys helping others during the busier after-work hours. You’ll assist shoppers and donors, keep the store floor and inventory areas organized, oversee the front desk, and help close down the building with care and consistency.

QualificationsYou’ll thrive here if:
- You prefer later shifts and a Wednesday–Saturday schedule
- You’re dependable, friendly, and great at assisting customers and volunteers
- You love staying active—moving donations, stocking shelves, organizing spaces
- You want work where compassion and community service are part of every shift
If you’re looking for part-time evening work with heart, this role may be the perfect fit.

Motivated daily by our belief in the inherent dignity of all, LSSNCA’s innovative participant-informed programs serve refugees, forced migrants, immigrants, children and youth, and underserved communities by filling in the gaps.
