Become a vital part of our production team as a Third Shift Post Press Operator, where your attention to detail and operational skills will ensure high-quality output and efficient workflow.

In this role, you will operate manual and automated post-press equipment during the third shift, focusing on maintaining production flow, meeting quality standards, and adhering to company policies. Your responsibilities include setup, monitoring, and inspection to guarantee customer satisfaction.

Job Details

• LOCATION: Des Plaines, IL 60018
• POSITION: Contract
• SCHEDULE: Third shift - Sunday to Thursday / 9:00pm-5:00am
• PAY RATE: $18.75 hour

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment completely and gather materials efficiently for production.
• Monitor and maintain stock areas and supplies to support continuous operation.
• Check order shipments, stamp and proofread customer orders, and generate accurate labels.
• Operate equipment to meet job requirements including product accuracy, proper ink coverage, and correct quantities.
• Maintain production by following policies and procedures, including using powered hand trucks and basic computer systems.
• Ensure proper labeling, sorting, engraving special orders, loading trucks, and compliance with postal service and delivery standards.
• Inspect products to verify they match order specifications and manifest orders according to shop order packages or manifest systems.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 18 years old or older and eligible to work in the USA.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with printing processes and operations.
• Knowledge of Lean principles.
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Experience operating powered hand trucks.
• Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
