ThirdParty Risk Management (TPRM)’s mission is to reduce extendedenterprise risk at Vanguard. We protect Vanguard through our stewardship of the third-party risk lifecycle and enable strategic, riskinformed decisions

As a Governance Specialist on the TPRM Strategy & Governance team, you will play a key role in advancing this mission by strengthening how third-party risks are identified, governed, and managed across VanguardIf you are interested in driving forward a highlyvisible, rapidly evolving global program with enterprise impacts, this is the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

• Steward and evolve Vanguard’s Global TPRM Policyand associated standards
• Develop enterprise risk metrics, dashboards, and reporting to create improved transparency and inform third-party risk reduction activities
• Lead assurance initiatives to strengthen third‑party risk oversight, monitor compliance with TPRM policies and standards, and drive enterprise accountability.
• Support enterprise and departmental initiatives that advance the maturity, effectiveness, and sustainability of Vanguard’s global third-party risk program.
• Provide strategic risk advisory support forrisk partners and divisional stakeholders, serving as a trusted thought partner for third-party risk
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Minimum of five years’ related work experience, with twoyears’ experience in risk management.

· Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.

· Ability to collaborate and engage with key program stakeholders

· Demonstrated program and project management experience.

· Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication skills.

· Professional certification (CTPRP, CPA, CIA, CISI,CRISC, etc.) preferred

Important Information

• This position operates in a hybrid environment. Team members are expected on‑site at Vanguard’s campus Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week. Monday and Friday are designated remote workdays, unless business needs require otherwise.
