We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Third-Party Due Diligence Risk & Analyst to support the identification, assessment, and monitoring of bribery and corruption risks across our global third-party network. This role is critical in ensuring robust due diligence processes and maintaining compliance with international regulatory standards.
This job is based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. We provide a flexible working schedule with the option of working hybrid The position is offered on a fixed-term contract ending 31.10.2027, with the possibility of extension
Risk Assessment
Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of third-party intermediaries to identify potential bribery and corruption risks.
Organize, prioritize, and complete due diligence reviews within agreed timelines.
Exercise sound judgment in prioritizing cases, identifying records requiring enhanced scrutiny, and following up on outstanding documentation.
Verify that customer-provided information, external data sources, and internal research meet company standards.
Evaluate inherent risks across third-party relationships, considering geography, industry, public sector exposure, and other risk indicators.
Ensure all due diligence activities are thoroughly documented and compliant with regulatory expectations.
Monitoring and Reporting
Continuously monitor third-party activities to identify and escalate suspicious or non-compliant behavior.
Prepare clear, structured risk assessment reports for senior stakeholders, including Directors and above.
Build a strong understanding of business models, customer types, country risks, and regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
Policy Development
Support the development and implementation of anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies and procedures.
Provide guidance and training to internal stakeholders and third parties on compliance requirements and best practices.
Collaboration
Partner with Legal, Sales, and Procurement teams to ensure a coordinated and effective approach to third-party risk management.
Liaise with external auditors and regulatory authorities where required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in risk assessment, compliance, business operations, or a related discipline.
Demonstrated experience in identifying bribery and corruption risks through data analysis.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and the ability to interpret complex information.
Ability to communicate findings clearly and concisely, particularly in structured reports for senior stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Solid understanding of anti-bribery and anti-corruption regulations (e.g., FCPA, UK Bribery Act).
Experience within a multinational or highly regulated environment.
Nice to have: German or French.
Background in international trade compliance or related areas.
Professional certifications in compliance, risk management, or financial crime (e.g., CAMS, ICA).
A curious, investigative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
