Summary:
Encore Bank is seeking a highly driven, relationship‑oriented Third‑Party Escrow Sales Representative to expand and deepen our rapidly growing national escrow platform. This individual will identify new business opportunities, nurture referral relationships, educate clients and intermediaries on Encore’s differentiated escrow capabilities, and drive new escrow account growth across a wide range of complex commercial transactions.
This role is ideal for a polished, consultative sales professional who understands deal cycles, excels at building trust with attorneys, financial intermediaries, sponsors, corporates, and advisors, and thrives in a fast‑paced, execution‑focused environment.
Primary Responsibilities:

- Proactively source new escrow opportunities from attorneys, accountants, investment bankers, M&A advisors, fund managers, real estate professionals, and corporate executives.
- Develop and execute a regional and national sales strategy to drive sustained pipeline growth.
- Conduct consultative discovery with prospects to understand transaction structure, timing, payout mechanics, and escrow requirements.
- Present Encore’s escrow value proposition—speedy execution, white‑glove service, simple fee structure, and deep expertise—to prospective clients and centers of influence.
- Build and maintain long‑term, trust‑based relationships with key referral partners.
- Serve as a knowledgeable, responsive point of contact for prospects throughout the sales cycle.
- Coordinate with internal escrow agents and operations professionals to ensure flawless service transition from sales to onboarding.
- Maintain a working knowledge of common escrow use cases including: M&A transactions, Subscription/fund escrows, Indemnification/holdback structures, Litigation and settlement escrows, Real estate and construction‑related escrows, Corporate and specialty purpose escrows
- Understand typical agreement components, deal timelines, release mechanics, and industry best practices.
- Provide clients and legal counsel with guidance on required documentation, account structure, and typical escrow workflows (non‑legal advice).
- Partner with Encore’s escrow operations and legal support teams to ensure timely contract review, account setup, and funding.
- Submit accurate pipeline updates, forecasts, and reporting to senior leadership.
- Collaborate on marketing content, strategic initiatives, and new product opportunities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of proven success in B2B sales or relationship management (banking, escrow, treasury management, trust services, M&A advisory, or related fields).
- Experience selling escrow, trust, or specialty deposit solutions.
- Strong understanding of commercial transactions and/or financial services.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to navigate complex deal structures with multiple stakeholders.
- High degree of professionalism, integrity, urgency, and follow‑through.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong time management, organizational, planning skills and customer skills.
- Experience selling escrow, trust, or specialty deposit solutions.
- Established network of attorneys, accountants, corporate executives, private equity/VC professionals, or investment bankers.
- Comfort with complex financial documents, term sheets, and escrow agreements.
- Able to translate transaction needs into tailored escrow solutions.
- Skilled at earning trust with sophisticated professionals.
- Strong command of escrow mechanics, documentation, and timelines.
