The CAT Dealer Prep Program is designed to prepare entry-level service technicians for employment at a CAT dealership. During this full-time, two-year program, students will develop the skills needed to be skilled service technicians. Each semester will consist of eight weeks of classroom study and eight weeks of required employment.

Program Requirements:
• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum passing score on SAT, ACT, or COMPASS placement test
• Two letters of recommendation from any of the following: employer, counselor, and/or instructor
• Must own tools
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Positive attitude
• Desire to learn what it takes to be a CAT dealer technician!
