Role is responsible for leading thermal engineering, drive new business planning/introduction, maintain existing product, technical operational issue resolution, customer focal point for technical support. Manage team of engineers and designers working on IAM and OE projects to support AOP. Work with Garrett teams on opportunity development, bids, and launches when awarded. Evaluate IAM and OE business opps in partnership with biz dev and sales managers. Work with supply base to maintain the sourcing panel needed for thermal at a cost that is needed to maintain and grow the business. provide technical support for HLRR actions. Support warranty claims and resolution from customers.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Eng
• +5 Years’ experience of Technical Experience
• Manufacturing processes of aluminium, stainless steel and cupernickel brazing and welding.
• Knowledge and experice of working with foundries to optimise manufacturing processes for cast and machined components.
• Heat transfer, thermo mechanical, product function knowledge essential.
• Experience in a customer facing role.
• Analytical skills, both technical and financial
• Confidence to speak up and ask for help when needed. Cross regional communication.
