Looking for a Full Time Therapy Aide/Tech that would like to be part of our Outpatient Day Neuro rehabilitation team. The Day Neuro program serves the adult brain injury and spinal cord injury population with a focus on return to work, school, and community activities. Therapy Aide will also cross-train and work in our Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility on the same campus. Our hospital is located in Lakeway, Texas in the scenic hill country, a suburb of Austin.
This role plays an important part in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care by assisting therapists with treatment preparation, maintaining a safe therapy environment, and supporting daily operations. Duties include but are not limited to: transferring patients, helping patients to and from different locations for programming, light clerical tasks, other duties/projects as assigned, and infection control cleaning and maintenance of therapy equipment. Positive attitude, self-starting initiative, flexibility, and good communication skills a must. We offer a collaborative and supportive team environment. Exposure to PT, OT, and SLP services, ideal for candidates who are pre-therapy schooling. Take part in meaningful work that supports patient recovery and independence.

The Therapy Aide/Therapy Tech provides care under the direction of a therapist, this position exists to assist patients in the rehabilitation process through provision of requested activities. Prepares and maintains equipment and physical environment for daily activities.
