Job Description

Coastal Horizons is seeking a Therapist to provide counseling and support for individuals with substance use and mental health needs, including co-occurring disorders.

JOB TITLE: Therapist – Substance Abuse & Mental Health

SCHEDULE: Full-Time

LOCATION: Brunswick County, NC | Coastal Horizons Center

What You’ll Do

  • Provide individual, group, and family counseling
  • Conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans
  • Support clients with case management and community resources
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Education and Qualifications

  • Master’s in counseling, social work, or related field
  • Preferred: LCSW, LCAS, LCMHC

  • Graduation from a four-year college or university in human services or related field and two years of progressive substance abuse counseling experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Graduation from a Master’s degree program
  • LCSW, or Licensure as a LCAS; or LPA, or LCMHC
