Job Title: Therapist - Respiratory

Location: Tripoli, Libya

Contract Details: Full time

Our client is a leading healthcare provider in Tripoli, Libya, dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our community. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Therapist - Respiratory to join their team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory therapy and a passion for helping patients with respiratory conditions. As a Therapist - Respiratory, you will work closely with patients to assess their respiratory needs, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing care and support.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for patients with respiratory conditions, such as asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and cystic fibrosis

- Administer respiratory treatments, including oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, and nebulizer treatments

- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care and self-management techniques

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Stay current on developments in respiratory therapy and implement new techniques and technologies as appropriate

- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols

- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy or related field

- Valid respiratory therapist license

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy

- Strong knowledge of respiratory conditions and treatment methods

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Proficiency in electronic medical records systems

- Fluency in Arabic and English
