Santa Fe Crisis Triage Center, On-call Therapist for 24/7/365 Mobile Crisis Response Team
Crisis Team members are responsible for providing immediate intervention and evaluation, support towards crisis stabilization, navigation to community partner agencies, harm reduction resources, therapeutic services and resources, as well as next day follow-up and appropriate transition/discharge.
Essential Functions:
Responding to active behavioral health crises anywhere within Santa Fe County at the request of local public safety agencies.
The Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist utilizes clinical skills to assess individuals experiencing behavioral health crises, identifying behavioral health components which have contributed to the crisis. Team members are responsible for providing immediate intervention and evaluation, support towards crisis stabilization, navigation to community partner agencies, harm reduction resources, therapeutic services and resources, as well as next day follow-up and appropriate transition/discharge.
Job Responsibilities:
The On-call Mobile Crisis Responder and their assigned partner are dispatched by phone at the request of a local public safety agency, typically from their home and in their personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided.) Targeted response time to a scene is typically within 30-40 minutes, depending on geographic location. Responders work directly with clients on-scene during emergency or urgent events, in the client's home or in a community setting. During a shift providers may be asked to complete follow-up phone calls/next day support for previously served clients.
Education and
Experience:
Master’s degree in human services or health-related field (including, but not limited to counseling, social work, psychology, etc.
Licensure/Certification: Must possess one of the following New Mexico licenses: Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Professional Art Therapist (LPAT), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
