Whether you're focused on family or primary therapy, your work will be critical in helping our clients build the tools they need for lasting recovery.

What You'll Do

As a Therapist at RCA, you'll play a key role in guiding clients through their recovery journey. Using person-centered and evidence-based practices, you will:

  • Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment goals and plans
  • Provide education and counseling to clients and their families
  • Help clients build coping strategies and develop healthy behaviors
  • Identify and address behaviors that may interfere with recovery
  • Refer clients to appropriate external services (e.g., support groups, job placement)
  • Educate families on addiction and recovery strategies
  • Participate in community outreach when needed
  • Work closely with the Care Coordination and Clinical teams
  • Perform other clinical duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

  • Master's degree in clinical psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field
  • At least 1 year of supervised experience in substance use disorder counseling
  • Preferred Licenses: MHC, LMHC, LMSW, LCSW, Ph.D. in Psychology
  • 1-3 years of experience working with culturally diverse populations in behavioral healthcare or substance abuse settings
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with dual-diagnosis patients is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

A former patient may not be hired at the same location where they were treated until a minimum of one year has elapsed since the completion of their treatment at that location. Former patients may be considered for employment at locations within RCA other than where they were treated within a year after treatment.

Why RCA?

That's why we offer:

  • Competitive compensation
  • Comprehensive benefits packages, encompassing medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plans.
