As a Therapeutic Support Specialiston our residential care team, you will provide essential care and support to residents, helping them thrive in a safe and supportive environment. Your responsibilities will include:
Engage and Connect:Lead fun, meaningful activities that promote confidence, joy, and emotional well-being for residents.
Teach Life Skills:Guideresidents in developing practical skills like cooking, cleaning, symptom management, and problem-solving.
Provide Support:Assistwith outings, medication administration (training provided), andmaintaininga welcoming, recovery-focused environment.

Qualifications
We are looking for passionate, dedicated individuals who meet the following minimum qualificationsand can contribute to a supportive environment for our residents:
MinimumRequirements:
Education:High school diploma or equivalent ( no college degreerequired).
HeartsaversCPRCertification:Must obtain HeartsaversCPRcertification within90daysof hire andmaintainit for continued employment.
Level 1 Medication Aide (LIMA) Licensure:Complete the licensure course and exam within the first 90 daysof employment. Certification must remain current per the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services (DHSS).
Driver’s License:Obtain a valid Class E Missouri or Kansas driver’s license. Must be comfortable and competent operatinga 15-passenger van within3months of employment and obey all traffic laws while on duty.
Family Care Registry Clearance:Successfully clear the Family Care Registry background check.
Training:Complete all required training as outlined during orientation and by leadership within established timelines for continued employment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Lived Experience:Personal lived experience withrecovery frommental health or substance use disordersis valued in our setting.
Patient Care Experience:Preference for candidates with documented experience assistingpatients with activities of daily living (e.g.home health or residential experience).
Mental Health Experience:Prior experience in a mental health care setting is highly valued.
