Job Description

About the role Lead therapeutic care for Children and Young People in OOHC. Manage a caseload (up to 12) and embed trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice. Guide Care Teams, drive case goals, and deliver hands-on therapeutic support under clinical supervision.

Duties

• Conduct assessments and set intervention plans

• Deliver trauma-informed therapeutic support

• Lead Care Team meetings and guide practice

• Manage risk, compliance, and reporting

• Collaborate with stakeholders and courts


Skills & Experience

• Degree in Psychology, Social Work, OT, or MH Nursing

• 5+ years in therapeutic/OOHC settings • Current AHPRA or relevant registration

• NDIS and disability pathway knowledge

• Driver licence and probity checks

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
