Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is accepting applications for a compassionate and dedicated Therapeutic Recreation & Inclusion Supervisor who develops, implements, plans, coordinates, supervises, and evaluates therapeutic recreation programs, services, and staff. Ensures that programs and services demonstrate national best practices of therapeutic recreation and inclusion; are in alignment with the mission, vision, values, goals and objectives of the MPRB; and meet the needs and interests of diverse communities. Coordinates and collaborates with internal and external partners to build and support programming initiatives and goals.
Need to Have:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Parks and Recreation Administration, or closely related field with a specialty in Therapeutic Recreation.
Increasingly responsible experience operating and leading therapeutic recreation programs and services: at least five (5) years.
First Aid and CPR certifications required within one (1) month of hire.
Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
