Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist who thrives in leadership, creativity, and community engagement? We’re seeking a dynamic Therapeutic Enrichment Supervisor to lead our Occupational Therapy and Community Support Advocate team while creating meaningful experiences that enrich the lives of our residents every day.

In this role, you’ll combine clinical expertise with innovative programming to foster emotional wellness, independence, social connection, and overall quality of life in a supportive residential setting.

As the Therapeutic Enrichment Supervisor, you will:

  • Lead, mentor, and support Occupational Therapist staff
  • Co-supervise the Community Support Advocate team alongside the Clinical Supervisor
  • Coordinate engaging events, therapeutic activities, and community programming that keep residents active, connected, and emotionally supported
  • Provide staff mentorship, training, coaching, and performance evaluations
  • Design and implement therapeutic and recreational programs that promote:
    • Socialization
    • Independence
    • Relaxation
    • Skill development
    • Daily living participation
  • Utilize creative therapeutic activities and structured programming to support residents’ emotional, behavioral, cognitive, and social goals
  • Encourage resident participation through meaningful therapeutic, social, recreational, and cognitive activities
  • Ensure all occupational therapy services meet state, federal, and company standards
  • Review treatment plans, assessments, documentation, and progress notes for compliance and quality
  • Monitor scheduling, caseloads, and productivity to support efficient service delivery
  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans as needed
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and performance improvement efforts
  • Professionally address resident, family, and staff concerns
  • Maintain strong communication and positive relationships with leadership and team members
  • Advocate for resident rights and uphold a resident-centered culture
  • Attend trainings, meetings, and continuing education opportunities

What We’re Looking For

  • Current Occupational Therapist license in the State of Michigan
  • Minimum of 3 years of Occupational Therapy experience
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of occupational therapy principles and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to connect with individuals with diverse personalities and needs
  • Experience using computer programs and creative media tools
  • Passion for innovation, engagement, and continuous professional growth
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
