
About the Role
Strive Community Care provides therapeutic home environments for children and young people with histories of complex trauma, abuse and neglect.
We are now looking for multiple new team members to join our growing Strive team. Perm Part-Time (min 40 or 60 hour fortnight) and Casual Therapeutic Care Workers in the Ipswich region to play a key role in supporting children and young persons in their healing journey through providing care in therapeutic homes. Therapeutic Care Workers also mentor children and young persons in OOHC through the WeStrive Mentoring Program. These positions are required to work across 24/7 rotating rostered shifts, including sleepovers (minimum 1-2 per week), weekends, and public holidays.
We utilise a strong Therapeutic Framework and unique CREATE Model of Care with a focus on establishing holistic safety. Children and young people are provided with a sense of family, support to heal, opportunity to positively connect with others, and rebuild their lives.

We will be holding an Assessment Centre at our Ipswich office on Monday 13th April from 10am to 12.30pm. If successful training will commence on Monday 20th April for 2 weeks.
