Associate Inventory Analyst (Americas)

What will you do?

A day in the life of aAssociate Inventory Analyst at The North Face looks a little like this.

You will play a crucial role in supporting the Planning team by analyzing and optimizing inventory for TNF in the Americas region. Your efforts will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our inventory management processes, ensuring that we meet our business objectives and deliver exceptional value to our customers.

  • E2E Inventory Planning & Forecasting: You will perform comprehensive inventory planning and forecasting for TNF AMER, ensuring alignment with business objectives. By leveraging data analytics and market insights, you will develop accurate forecasts that drive informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Omnichannel Inventory Management: You will optimize capital allocation by managing inventory across multiple channels, ensuring the highest return on stock owned. Your proactive approach to managing stock transfers across distribution centers (DCs) will help meet demand efficiently, reduce stockouts, and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Excess/Distressed Inventory Analysis: You will analyze excess and distressed inventory, driving timely actions to mitigate risks and optimize inventory flow. By identifying trends and root causes, you will implement strategies to minimize excess inventory and maximize recovery value, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.

What do you need to succeed?

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skillsyou’llneed to succeed and excel. The foundation skills you will need in this position are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Buying, or Merchandising, Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 2+ years of Consultancy, Planning, Finance, Buying.

  • Proficient in Excel and willing to learn ERP systems (SAP, BOBJ, POWERBI etc.)

  • Strong interpersonal communication, influence, and problem-solving ability.

  • Comfortable in a self-starter environment.

  • Ability to work in an open environment with cross-functional partners.

  • Computer proficiency, including specific job-required applications.

  • Able to manage responsibilities & tasks without direction.

  • Must be flexible and adaptive to change

Hiring Range

$64,800.00 USD - $81,000.00 USD annually

Incentive Potential This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential. Specific details of the additional compensation eligibility for this position will be provided during the recruiting and interview process.
