Beyond capital, we actively partner with founders and THG operating companies to accelerate growth and create strategic value.HG Ventures is an active, high-touch corporate venture group that seeks strategic collaborations between early-stage companies and The Heritage Group, helping unlock value across all organizations. We are seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern to support our Platform function with a focus on data-driven marketing. This role blends elements of venture platform management, portfolio support, and modern growth marketing. You will help strengthen how HG Ventures engages with founders, portfolio companies, and the broader innovation ecosystem through analytics, content, and emerging AI tools.This is a high-exposure role working closely with the Platform Manager and investment team, offering insight into venture capital, startup ecosystems, and corporate innovation.What You'll Gain:• Exposure to venture investing and startup ecosystems • Hands-on experience with AI-driven marketing and platform strategy • Opportunity to work closely with a small, high-impact team • Insight into how corporate venture capital creates strategic value

Essential Functions

  • Marketing and Content - Analyze engagement metrics and recommend strategies to improve reach and impact; support brand-building initiatives to elevate HG Ventures’ presence in the startup ecosystem
  • Data and Analytics - Build dashboards and track KPIs across platform, marketing, and portfolio engagement efforts; leverage data to identify trends across portfolio companies, sectors, and partnerships; assist in organizing and structuring internal knowledge using modern tools
  • Portfolio Support - Help identify connections, resources, and collaboration opportunities within The Heritage Group
  • Research and Strategic Projects - Conduct market research on emerging sectors, startups, and AI/marketing trends; Support special projects across platform initiatives
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including but not limited to continuously growing in alignment with the Company’s core values, competencies, and skills.


Education Qualifications

  • Required High School or Equivalent
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree Current undergrad (rising senior) or MBA student preferred


Skills and Abilities

  • Strong interest in venture capital, startups, marketing, or innovation ecosystems
  • Familiarity with data analysis, marketing analytics, or AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, automation tools, CRM platforms)
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Self-starter with high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects


Working Conditions/Physical Demands

  • Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to lift and carry small parcels, packages and other items and walk short distances.

Internships at The Heritage Group


The Heritage Group Internship Program provides hands-on, paid experiences in a corporate function or within one of our many operating companies. Interns can expect to network with other students and professionals, gain useful skills, receive mentoring, and make their own contributions to the organization. Additionally, interns can participate in our weekly hosted events focused on professional development, team building, and community service.

Intern pay is non-negotiable and is calculated based on current academic class standing $18/hour (Freshman) - $21/hour (Senior), etc.
